Illustrated for Peta’s McCruelty campaign. Chronologically, these were made during the transition between my flat style and the more dimensional rendering seen here. Writing by Kevin C. Neece. Editing and artwork by Brock Rizy. Brock says: Steven New thought up a character he calls the Rescue Raptor. Before he moved to Korea, Kevin and I collaborated on this short comic combining his character with a parody of an old favorite cartoon, to include in a personalized gift mini-comic.
Actually, the catbear is into women’s gymnastics. How the fuck should I know what David Beckham looks like? I told you I’m not into sports. That includes shitty sports. © Brock Rizy 2010
Catbear doesn’t like White Castle. I saw some actual Asians at that disgusting Chinese buffet. That would be like seeing somebody who isn’t homeless at White Castle. © Brock Rizy 2010
This strip will bring the history buffs, the neo-Nazis, and that English-speaking David Hasselhoff fan to my site, by way of their google word searches. You can turn around and go, Hasselhoff fan. Your kind isn’t welcome here. Do you think one of the reasons that the Germans love David Hasselhoff so much is because of the double ‘s’ in his name? Naturlich. © Brock Rizy 2010 |
