Friday, April 27, 2007Letter from the Producer![]() To Whom It May Concern, Who doesn't dream of being a patron of the arts? Well, friends, now is your chance. Brock Rizy has a vision for a groundbreaking piece of film that will meld his comic book illustrating past (see Emily Edison) with his screenwriting dreams for the future. The result will be something like a mix of Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Out of Africa. The project in question is entitled ¡Bike_Gang!, and it will actually consist of three short films. These films have already been written, cast and will soon be shot in and around Dallas. What these films lack is what all great art lack; namely, money. That is where you, the great savior of the arts can help. We are seeking financial backers for this project so that we may purchase a camera, tape to shoot on, and equipment to edit this masterpiece. We understand that not everyone is comfortable donating the same amount so we have created some suggested levels of donation. Much like the exciting world of PBS fundraising, donating a certain amount will give you not only the satisfaction of talking about how you single-handedly saved the arts in Dallas, but also a token of our appreciation. This can range from a sketch book, to a mention in the credits of the films, and more. To make donating easy and quick, we have set up a PayPal account that all donations can be made through. We thank you for your support and be on the lookout for the iBike_Gang! to be invading cinemas sometime in the near future. Go'unh!
